About Us

Julie and Kelly make the art.  We are a married couple.  Julie does art full time.  Kelly is still a few years from retirement.  He works from home, and it’s challenging when Julie is rocking out in the art studio while he is on a conference call.  We do have a lot of fun working together on art. 

Fluid art is what got us through the lockdown.  Leading up to the Pandemic, Julie had been watching fluid art videos on the internet. As the Pandemic was starting, Julie decided to try it.  She had fun doing it and made Kelly try it.  Kelly’s first attempt was a ring pour using blue and yellow.  He mixed the paint too thin and ended up with the ugliest green color imaginable.  We don't really have any funny paint stories about Julie--her stuff always seems to turn out.

About a year after we started, we had filled the house with art.  We decided to try selling it in order to make room to paint more.  But we didn't want to just sell canvases.  They were going to be hard for customers to find a place for, and we wanted more people to have an opportunity to take our art home.  In September 2021, we did our first art show, and we ended up selling canvases, jewelry, trays, trivets and coasters. Our work was well received (which we really value), and it sold.

Since then, we have expanded both the number shows and product lines.
