Shipping

Items will generally be shipped within 2 - 4 business days. If for some reason we can’t get an item shipped within this time frame, we will contact the buyer before processing the order.

Custom items will take substantially longer to ship because we have to create the item prior to shipping.  Please plan for 6-8 weeks prior to shipping.  (See our page on custom orders for details.)

The shipping times shown by Shopify are wonky, and we can’t figure out how to fix them.  For example, we did a test order where a customer qualified for free shipping.  Shopify was estimating 4 days for handling and 7-8 days shipping time for standard free shipping.  For additional cost, it also offered UPS ground which had 4 days for handling and 4 days of shipping time.  First, we are planning to ship everything UPS ground, so please don’t select the option to pay extra for what we are already planning to do.  Second, we don’t know where it is getting the shipping time data, and more importantly, we don’t control shipping times.  Our intent is to get the package to UPS within 2-4 business days.  UPS will then control how long it takes for the package to get to the customer.
